2021 Honda CB1300 Flagship Teased With Refreshed Retro-Styling

The new 2021 Honda CB1300 flagship series has been teased with refreshed retro-styling. Alongside the standard model, the Japanese company should also introduce SuperFour SP, Super Bol D’Or and Super Bol D’Or SP versions. All four iteration, according to Honda, are going to be revealed on 21st December 2020.

If you didn’t know, the CB1300 draws inspiration from the concept called ‘Project BIG -1’, introduced to meet the demands for large displacement engine that could traverse cities at high speeds. The new motorcycle uses a 1,284cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-stroke 16-valve DOHC motor that develops 110 horses, featuring a 6-speed gearbox.

The classic 90s design and styling are still evident on the new 2021 Honda CB1300. Of course, the manufacturer refreshed mostly of its ageing elements, providing more modern and aggressive look. First of all, the Honda CB1300 reveals more contemporary features such as LED headlamps and tail lamps.

The analogue instrumentation is still present, reiterating the past. On top of that, handling and stability are better, thanks to the telescopic fork and twin shocks. However, jumping on the SP versions, buyers can expect Ohlins suspension and Brembo monoblocs. The 2021 CB1300 comes with the classic white bodywork with beautiful red frame, black engine and some of the golden accents.

The very potent engine powers all the versions including CB1300 Super Four, SuperFour SP, Super Bol D’Or and Super Bol D’Or SP.

This engine consists of a 1,284cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-stroke 16-valve DOHC, and is one of the most powerful in the market. Thanks to it, the Honda CB1300 delivers 110 horses. On top of that, the forthcoming motorcycle is very fuel economy, because it comes standard with a 6-speed gearbox.

Release Date and Price

Japanese company recently teased the new 2021 Honda CB1300, and it reveals that all four versions will be fully introduced on 21st December 2020. The entry-level CB1300 Super Four SP starts at ¥1,720,000 ($16,500), while the pricings of SuperFour SP, Super Bol D’Or, and Super Bol D’Or SP, are not yet available.

From the latest reports, the upcoming bikes are going to be Japan-only, and there is no arrival in sight for Europe or America.
