The new 2021 Honda CR-V will undoubtedly get some drivetrain changes. However, we are still waiting for more official information. This unit provides excellent efficiency of 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.

The next powertrain is a relatively new hybrid which consists of a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors. The total output is 212 horsepower, and the hybrid is equipped with an all-wheel drive as standard. On top of that, the hybrid model uses a new (eCVT) and has the ability to run on electricity alone at lower speeds. Otherwise, in fuel efficiency, models like Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and Ford Escape Hybrid give better numbers. Still, CR-V hybrid attains up to 40 mpg in the city, which makes this model very efficient. Both models have a limited towing capacity of 1,500-pounds and this is the main disadvantage of the CR-V.
