0

Since the first release of the Honda Grom back in 2014, this motorcycle gains a couple of updates over the years. According to a popular Japanese magazine, the new 2021 Honda Grom is arriving with a more stylish look.

Generally, this motorbike is one of the most versatile on the market. It provides excellent fun, headling, and performance. So, if you’re looking for an ultimate two wheels model, this is perhaps the right one to consider.

2021 Honda Grom Design, Dimension

Generally, the new 2021 Honda Grom features some mild refreshments. Basically, it’s hard to see some changes compared to the current model. Honda uses this time a slightly increased platform from the retro-style Honda Monkey. Thanks primarily to its compact dimensions of just 30 inches, the new Grom makes it easy to flat-foot it in parking lots.

The front of this motorcycle looks slightly better than before for sure. Moreover, Honda uses a LED projector-style headlight providing much better illumination on the road. The instrument panel remains the same, and it features a speedometer, odometer, tachometer, A&B trip meters, fuel gauge, clock, and indicator for low/high beam. However, no new paint schemes are available, as many of us thought that would be. Honda Grom ABS model is only available in Cherry Red, while non-ABS is offered with Grom Blue Raspberry, Halloween Orange, Incredible Green, and Cherry Red.

How Much Power Does the 2021 Honda Grom Make?

The latest 2021 Honda Grom will most likely use the same powertrain as the predecessor. As you probably know, this version uses a 125cc SOHC single-cylinder engine. From some various reports, this engine is capable of making 9.7 hp (7.2 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 8 pound-feet (10.8 Nm) at 5,500 rpm. Also, like the previous model, we can expect the same 4-speed transmission system.

Release Date and Price

The upcoming 2021 Honda Grom will not significantly differ from the predecessor. Of course, the manufacturer will introduce some improvements, and it will upgrade its mechanics. From what we heard, the new Grom will arrive next year, and it will be offered with two trims. The non-ABS Honda Grom will cost you $3,399, while the ABS version has an MSRP of $3,599. As you can see, the price is slightly different but still affordable.
