One of the smallest hatchbacks in the B-segment is the upcoming 2021 Honda Jazz. As you may know, this model elsewhere is sold by the Fit name. Basically, both models provide great styling and perhaps the most noticeable changes are visible inside. If you remember, this hatchback was presented for the first time in late 2001, and back then it took much attention.

Comfort inside is decent and there are rooms for five occupants. Also, the safety of Jazz is excellent with ten airbags, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, new wide camera, collision mitigation system, and traffic sign recognition. The Honda Jazz called eHEV will be available only in Europe. This model will be electrified and it will use a 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC gasoline powertrain and two electric motors. Besides, it comes with a lithium-ion battery. From some reliable information, this combination will deliver a total output of 107 horses, which is not so good nowadays. Lastly, Honda Jazz accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 9.4 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 108 mph.

Final Thoughts, Price, and Release Date

An entry-level 2021 Honda Jazz that uses the 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual transmission will cost less than $17,000. As you can see, this small car is very affordable. However, added CVT system, the price will jump by $800. However, the eHEV will be an exclusive model for Europe and it will cost around €26,250. According to the latest info, the Jazz will be available later this year.

Besides great styling and roomy cabin, this model offers more cargo space than rivals like Mitsubishi Mirage, Kia Rio 5-door, Nissan Versa Note, and Chevrolet Sonic.
