One of the best minivans on the market, the Honda Odyssey, is reportedly getting a mild overhaul for the next year. The new model called 2023 Honda Odyssey should introduce more handsome styling, and it will ride on the new Global truck platform.

If you didn’t know, this platform is currently used on the models such as the Acura MDX, Honda Pilot, and Honda Ridgeline. Anyway, the manufacturer will also make some changes inside, adding more premium materials and better technologies. As for the engine, this minivan will probably continue to use the same 3.5-liter V6, producing 280 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft torque. There are also rumors that the next-generation could also receive some sort of electrification.

The spy shots of the 2023 Honda Odyssey are available, and they reveal mild changes on its body. First of all, the next-generation model will look more handsome thanks to some upgrades here and there. We immediately noticed new black wheels and more sharper lines on the side.

There is currently one image on the rear, and as we can see, the upcoming Honda Odyssey is featuring new LED taillights and revised bumper. Unfortunately, the spied model is wearing camo, and we don’t have a clear look on other changes.

Interior Refreshments

The 2023 Honda Odyssey is among favorite minivans because it comes with a modern and spacious interior. Unlike its rivals, this minivan is available with either seven or eight seats. There’s plenty of room, and cargo space can be expanded from 32.8 to 158 cubic feet. The LX as the entry-level model includes great equipment.

Inside, you’ll find power-adjustable front seats (8-way for the driver, 4-way for the passenger), infotainment system of 8 inches, and plenty of drivers assist features. Other options that are available include rear-seat entertainment system, heated/ventilated front seats, leather seating surfaces, wireless charging, and front/rear parking sensors.
