As for the engine, this model uses a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine producing plenty of torque. Best of all, every CBR500R comes with anti-lock brakes (ABS) as standard equipment. The Pearl White color scheme is also new this year, and we must admit, it looks really cool.

Honda recently introduced a new version of its sportbike, 2021 CBR500R. Reactions are positive, and we are glad that the manufacturer has done some bodywork updates. First of all, the CBR500R wears more aggressive styling, and it comes with two great color options. This time Honda, alongside Matt Grey Metallic, added a striking new eye-appeal Pearl White color as an option.
Overall, the design is excellent, and CBR500R comes with a pair of powerful LED headlights. They are featuring a great shape, resulting better amount of illumination on the road. Also, Honda added a better LCD screen featuring a digital speedometer and tachometer. One can customize screen, adding real-time and average fuel consumption meters and illuminated engine diagnostic indicators. The aerodynamics are also improved, giving the rider more comfort at a higher speed.
Engine Performances
The 2021 Honda CBR500R is the motorcycle that will come standard with anti-lock brakes (ABS) system. On top of that, it’s powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine providing excellent performance and, most importantly, plenty of torque.
Like the previous model, the new one uses the same six-speed transmission, providing smooth shifting. According to Honda fuel economy estimates, this model can deliver 72 mpg. However, Honda stated that actual mileage would vary depending on how you ride this bike.
2021 Honda CBR500R Release Date and Price
The new version 2021 Honda CBR500R will receive some essential updates. This model will arrive next year, with a starting price of $6,990. However, consider that price does not include destination charge, one must pay an additional $380.
