The new revamped supersport bike 2021 Honda CBR600RR has been confirmed. From the information that we got, the upcoming model will introduce some design and mechanical upgrades due to its full reveal on August 21.
The best part is that it will finally be available in Europe. If you didn’t know, CBR600RR disappeared from dealers in Europe in late 2017, primarily because of Euro 4 emissions limits. However, Honda’s continuous production of this model in other markets, including the States.
2021 Honda CBR600RR Design
The latest 2021 Honda CBR600RR is combining sharp handling with lightweight. Thanks to that, it offers plenty of performance. The design of the current model is sporty and we can expect some small refreshments. Basically, Honda CBR600RR is dressed in one of the best suits on the market.
This model uses a new twin-spar aluminum chassis and the manufacturer added premium suspension. The frame-mounted top shock mount and Unit Pro-Link® isolates the frame from bumps. Generally, this is resulting in more precise handling and better traction. Besides, this bike also uses Hondas Electronic Steering Damper (HESD). This system helps maintain low-speed maneuverability while providing excellent, predictable high-speed handling. Looking at this model from the side we realize that the manufacturer added more sharp-looking 12-spoke cast-aluminum wheels delivering real handling improvements.
2021 Honda CBR600RR Delivers More Power
The forthcoming 2021 Honda CBR600RR will be available with a potent 599cc engine. According to Honda, the new model will come with some mechanical improvements. We just got information that the new bike makes around 115 hp, and is roughly on a par with famous Yamaha’s YZF-R6. However, compared with but a Kawasaki’s 636cc Ninja ZX-6R, Honda CBR600RR provides 13 horses less. The CBR600RR also comes with a 4.8-gallon fuel tank that is positioned in the center of the chassis.
Release Date and Price
The forthcoming supersport bike 2021 Honda CBR600RR will be revealed on August 21. Interestingly, the new model will introduce plenty of improvements compared to the predecessor.
Generally, the design will be more sporty and this bike should provide better performances. Honda states that the price will remain the same as in the current model. Moreover, the current model costs $11.799, without a destination charge of $380.
