The Honda’s flagship motocross and supercross motorcycle 2021 Honda CRF450R has been revealed recently. According to the manufacturer, the next-generation model will get more power and better mechanics. Besides that, buyers can expect plenty of improvements over the previous model.
Overall, from the main Honda’s page, the next-gen R model cost around $9599, while the CRF450RWE version starts at $12,380. Cross-country racebike CRF450RX is also available with a price tag of $9899.
2021 Honda CRF450R Design
The redesigned 2021 Honda CRF450R will hosts many improvements compared to the predecessor. The manufacturer, this time, added a new chassis, suspension, and bodywork overhaul. Thanks to that all, the latest motorcycle letting you rail through the corners with more precision. Honda’s new CRF450R is also lighter because it uses a twin-spar aluminium frame.
The new bodywork looks fantastic and the seat offers excellent comfort and smoother rider interface. However, more sporting styling can be found on the CRF450RWE or Works Edition. Basically, this model is more than just a standard bike. It offers better graphics thanks to exclusive Yoshimura exhaust, Twin Air filter, Throttle Jockey seat cover, Hinson clutch basket and premium DID DirtStar LT-X rims.
Engine Specs
The new 2021 Honda CRF450R endowed with important updates resulting in much better handling and improving power. Also, Unicam engine features better decompression system, intake, and exhaust system. Generally, thanks to that, this model is resulting in improved performance.
This model comes with a 4-stroke single 450cc engine that is mechanically better than the predecessor. Besides that, it uses a new hydraulically actuated wet-multiplate clutch and 5-speed transmission.
2021 Honda CRF450R Release Date and Cost
From plenty of gossips, the new 2021 Honda CRF450R should be available for purchase next year, probably in the second quarter. Besides better design than before, the next-gen model sits higher than its predecessor. Also, it features a new twin-spar aluminium frame and lighter body.
According to the manufacturer, the R version will cost around $9599, which is $1000 more than the predecessor. However, CRF450RWE premium motocrosser is the most expensive starting at $12,380, while the Cross-country racebike CRF450RX is $9899.
