2021 Honda CBR250RR Debuted Yesterday in Malaysia

The more stylish version 2021 Honda CBR250RR was released yesterday in Malaysia. Honda has updated its portfolio with this model, and more models are coming. According to many reports, the manufacturer has a plan to refresh all its bikes by 2023.

Plenty of new features are available on CBR250RR, and buyers can opt between two new color, includes Winning Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. The new bike also gets minor updates, including a refreshed twin-pod LED headlight, an LED taillight, LED turn indicators, split-style, digital instrument cluster, and more muscular styling.

In terms of design, the 2021 Honda CBR250RR features more attractive styling than the previous generation. As we mentioned, the new bike will come with refreshed dual-LED headlights up front, providing a more aggressive and sporty look. It also comes with a new suspension at the front, handled by the same gold USD forks as we saw on much bigger sports bikes. However, at the rear, it is held up by a five-step preload adjustable mono-shock.

It rolls on a stylish 17-inch alloy wheels warped with a 110/70 at the front and 140/70 at the rear. On top of that, Honda CBR250RR features an all-new digital console with inverted colors. Moreover, if you didn’t know, the same console can also be found on the 1000cc superbike machine.

2021 Honda CBR250RR Engine Specs

The new speedster 2021 Honda CBR250RR is available with the same 249.7cc two-cylinder powertrain. This unit is liquid-cooled, which features a DOHC setup and eight valves.

However, unlike the previous generation, the new one provides around three horses more. So, this bike delivers an output of 40.23 horses at 13,000 rpm. Like before, the manufacturer used the same six-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch that transmits power to the ground via a final chain drive. Overall, shifting is smooth, and Honda CBR250RR is very economical.

Price

The 2021 Honda CBR250RR is now available to purchase in Malaysia, and it offers more benefits than the outgoing model. Besides attractive styling, this bike also includes many new features. The price of Honda CBR250RR is higher than before, starting at MYR 25,999, which roughly translates to INR 4.73 lakh or $6,420.
