We just got an exciting news, Japanese company boosts the 2021 Honda CRF300L with more attractive styling and a bigger engine. Besides, Honda also revealed that there would be even a Rally version of this popular bike.
After nine years in the global markets, Honda’s entry-level bike will receive updates that it deserves. According to Honda, the upcoming motorcycle will come with a new frame, richer equipment list, and several styling updates.
First Look at 2021 Honda CRF300L and Rally Versions
The output design of the 2021 Honda CRF300L is refreshed, and the manufacture did a great job. This model boasts many improvements. First of all, it comes with a redesigned steel semi-double-cradle frame, providing longer travel suspension and better ground clearance. From what we heard, the CRF300L has lost (8.8-lb) of weight, and it increased ground clearance by 30 mm (1.2 in), now measuring 285 mm (11.2 in).
On the other hand, riding position has been improved, and CRF300L features a seat height that grows by 5 mm to a total of 880 mm. However, going for the Rally version, buyers will get a broader, the more off-road-like rubber-mounted seat of 885mm. Moreover, both models also include a sharper LCD with great graphics for easy reading of important information.
2021 Honda CRF300L Engine Specs
The fresh new 2021 Honda CRF300L bike will be available with a proven single-cylinder engine. This engine has been in the CBR series for a relatively long time. It measures 286cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4-valve single-cylinder with a longer piston stroke for the same bore, compared to the outgoing model.
However, unlike before, this motor now offers a little more power. According to officials, the engine can directly deliver an impressive 27 hp (20.1 kW). Compared to CRF250L, that’s 2.6 horses up, maximized at the same 8,500 rpm limit. On top of that, the manufacturer added a new sixth-speed transmission for more relaxed high-speed cruising. CRF300 Rally comes with the same engine, but it provides a 12.8L fuel capacity tank. The standard model has a smaller fuel tank of 7.8L.
Release Date and Price
The new 2021 Honda CRF300L and Rally versions are arriving. According to Honda, both models should be available in Europe for the first time next year.
Apart from the small outside changes, the upcoming bike will deploy a bigger engine that will deliver more power. However, pricing has not been yet revealed, but we can surely hope that it will be in the coming weeks.
