If you’re looking for a light, elegant, and eye-catching motorcycle, than the upcoming 2022 Honda CB300R ABS is worth considering. Honda recently revealed that the new bike would arrive later this year as a 2022 model. The new bike should offer plenty of power and more precise handling compared to the outgoing model.
Generally, thanks to its Neo-Sports Café design, the CB300R ABS is one of the most elegant bikes in its category. Interestingly, it even comes with advanced anti-lock brakes helping in unexpected situations. On top of that, the upcoming motorcycle is affordable, starting at just $4,950.
2022 Honda CBR300R Design
Like much bigger bikes, the new 2022 Honda CBR300R ABS model uses the same Neo-Sports Café design. Basically, this small street race bike borrows plenty of cues from its bigger brother CB1000R. It features classic styling with plenty of modern touches. Basically, Honda did a great job adding an all-LED lighting package. This bike sports a timeless round headlight and thinnest LED taillight ever mounted on a Honda motorcycle.
Besides attractive styling, the new Honda CBR300R is over 30 pounds lighter than the previous CB300F model. For 2022, Honda used a 317-pound curb weight, keeping the same dimensions. Perhaps the most exciting news is a full-function LCD display that adds a premium feel to this bike. In addition, it’s around 60-percent thinner than the outgoing one, giving readouts for engine rpm, speed, and fuel level.
2022 Honda CBR300R Engine Specs
The new 2022 Honda CB300R ABS bike deploys a compact 286cc DOHC four-valve, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine provides plenty of power both around town and out on the highway. On top of that, it also works extraordinarily well in all road-riding conditions.
The manufacturer this year used a more advanced Anti-Lock Braking System that is also standard on the CB300R. Generally, the new Anti-Lock Braking System is a big help in making controlled stops in less-than-ideal conditions.
