From the latest statement, the Japanese automaker will release the 2022 Honda Grom later this year. The new bike has just been revealed, featuring more attractive styling and colors.
From the information that we recently got, the latest Grom will be improved, and it will come with a digital instrument console and an all-LED lighting setup. However, unlike the previous generation, it should draw power from a new Euro 5-compliant 125cc engine linked to a 5-speed gearbox. On top of that, you can get this bike in the colors like Queen Bee Yellow, Candy Blue, Pearl White, and Matte Black Metallic.
2022 Honda Grom Improvements
The 2022 Honda Grom is refreshed, and it looks more attractive. First of all, it sits on a steel backbone frame, and it sports a flat-type seat, sloping fuel tank, and rounded mirrors. It also comes for the first time with a digital instrument console and an all-LED lighting setup.
According to Honda, the new bike is also available with an optional SP package. This package costs additional, and it includes special graphics, alloy wheels, and golden brake calipers. To ensure the best safety, the manufacturer equipped this bike with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. For better handling on the roads, Honda also offers an ABS optionally. As we already wrote, the latest Grom will be available in colors Queen Bee Yellow, Candy Blue, Pearl White, and Matte Black Metallic.
2022 Honda Grom Engine Specs
The new 2022 Honda Grom is a bike that is powered by a potent engine. It uses a new Euro 5-compliant 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, delivering outstanding performances. The small mill generates 9.64hp of maximum power at 7,250rpm, 10.5Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
On top of that, it’s linked to a 5-speed gearbox. The new Honda Grom can reach a top speed of 53 miles from some early testing, which is around 94 km/h.
Release Date and Price
Unlike the previous generation, the new 2022 Honda Grom is a bike that featuring refreshed styling and many technologies. It comes with a new digital instrument console and an all-LED lighting setup.
As we mentioned, Honda recently stated that the new version would arrive later this year. The current Honda Grom 125 costs $3,399 (roughly Rs. 2.47 lakh) for the standard model, while the ABS-equipped variant is priced at $3,599 (approximately Rs. 2.61 lakh). Generally, we can expect the new model to be in the same pricing line.
