A prototype of the Honda’s next-generation Pilot has been spotted for the first time. The redesigned 2023 Honda Pilot is the fourth generation in line, and it will reportedly reach dealerships in late 2022. Judging from the first spy shots, the redesigned SUV will feature a more rugged design, but it still looks more like a minivan than SUV. As you probably know, this SUV shares some influences with the Ridgeline pickup truck.

The more rugged design is present, and the new model is proportionally much more significant. Dimensionally is similar to the redesigned Acura MDX, on which platform Pilot sits. In addition, the platform is more rigid than the one it replaces.

How Much Will Cost the New 2023 Honda Pilot?

The debut of the new 2023 Honda Pilot will reportedly happen next year. In general, don’t expect it in the first half of the year at all. Although it’s nowhere near popular as the smaller CR-V, the Pilot is still very important member to Honda.

Its sales are growing every year, and even with the Covid-19 restrictions, Honda still managed to sell over 123,813 units in the United States last year. We expect the new model to start in the low $30,000 range for the base model, while the top out trim should be around the $50,000 mark.
