Exciting news for motorcycle lovers. Reportedly, Honda filed a trademark application a few days ago for the NT1100 model name in Europe. From what we heard, the new sport-touring bike will be called 2022 Honda NT1100, and it will arrive in the first quartal of the next year.
So, what can we expect from this bike? First of all, we think that NT1100 will borrow plenty of elements from the famous Rebel 1100 model. Generally, some early reports suspected that the new NT would use the same Africa Twin’s big-bore twin 1,084cc engine. Basically, this is one of the most powerful engines that deliver excellent performance.
What Do We Know About Its Design?
The upcoming 2022 Honda NT1100 motorcycle will probably borrow many design elements from the popular Honda’s Rebel 1100 model. We should expect a very compact design that is, on the other hand, very aggressive. A lot of today’s motorcycles provide excellent handling, and the NT1100 will not be an exception.
Probably, Honda will set high standards, and the Rebel 1100 suspension is a perfect example. So, we are also assuming low seat height with an optional passenger seat, resulting in comfort even on the rough terrains. Interestingly, Rebel 1100 has one of the lowest seats in the segment.
2022 Honda NT1100 Engine Specs
Like the Honda did with the new Rebel 1100, we should also expect to do the same with the new 2022 NT1100. That means we could see the same engine that redefines what a modern cruiser can and should be. Africa 1084cc twin-cylinder engine powers this bike, delivering outstanding performances.
Generally, all African twin engines offer plenty of power grunt down low and revs like nothing else in the class. Like the Rebel version, we should also expect the new NT1100 to be offered with eider a six-speed DCT automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission with a handlebar-mounted clutch lever.
2022 Honda NT1100 Release Date and Price
The release date of the newest 2022 Honda NT1100 will probably happen in the first quarter of the next year. Generally, we still don’t know much about this bike, but Honda filed a trademark application of NT1100 a few days ago in Europe.
Pricing is still unknown, but many believe that the new NT1100 might be in the Rebel version range that starts at $10k.
