Beside this engine, Honda also offers a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 that puts out 180 horsepower. The same engine under the hood of the Si model produces 200 horsepower. The last engine is powering the Type R model using the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder. This engine develops over 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel-drive is standard, and it doesn’t sound that Honda is planning to offer an all-wheel drive setup.
2023 Honda Civic Release Date, Price
Honda will unveil the next-generation of the 2023 Civic sometime this year. So, we can expect sales to begin during the 2023 model year.
As we mentioned, both Honda Civic and Type R prototypes are recently caught testing, featuring refreshed design. Unfortunately, there are no official details about its pricing, but we presume some small increase for the base model.
